Produktbeschreibung:

The ramatech winding machines with center drive are designed for integrative cooperation between man and machine. The operator works on and with the machine and has access to various auxiliary functions. After the empty drum has been loaded, the drum is clamped, lifted and the cable (or winding material) will be fixed. The target length can be entered or transferred by scanner. After the start of the winding process, speed as well as tractive force can be variably adjusted. Preset acceleration and deceleration ramps guarantee a smooth start and stop of the winding process. Based on automatic diameter scanning, the cable is automatically layed between the left and right drum flanges during the winding process.

Depending on the system, automatic pre-positioning of the quills and also automatic drum take-up operations are possible. Drum clamping can also be automated on the W1250, as well as the drum lifting. After the winding process, a "push-out" function is available on the W1400, which specifically strips drums from the quills and prepare them to roll away.

Optional plug-in coil winding units for cable coiling are available.

Selection of drums out of a drum memory:

The W1250 is able to store different drum parameters. Relevant values such as drum width, drum diameter, etc. are then available in the machine and enable automated take-up of drums (clamping and lifting operation, as well as lowering).

DSC 0680

Pre-Positioning of quills:

In case of varying drum parameters, e.g. constantly changing target drums with different dimensions, the drum memory of the W1250 can be used to pre-position the clamping arms.

The operator stores typical drum parameters (e.g. width and diameter of a "typical" 800 mm drum). The quills then automatically move to the stored value (height and width) and stop before entering into the core hole. Due to the drum not being uniquely determined, the operator then drives the last section in manual mode.

Interchangeable and individual quills:

The W1400 and W1250 have a predefined set of quills (centering cone) in the standard scope of delivery.

In case of deviating requirements, the quills can be exchanged. Customized cone geometries are also possible for special drums or core holes.

Optional coil winding devices:

All ramatech winding machines with center drive can be equipped with plug-in coil winding devices.

In this way, a drum winder can also be used as a coiler.

Automatic Laying:

All ramatech winders are equipped with an automatic traversing laying unit. The material to be wound is laid precisely between the left and right drum flanges. This results in a flush and tidy laying pattern.

Alternatively, the operator can control the laying process manually at any time by pressing a button

Durchhangspeicher 1

Corrections to the laying pattern:

Even during an automatic laying process, a machine operator can actively override the automatic system. This can be helpful, for example, with twisted cables, cables with axial twist, or other material with considerable pretension..

In this way, the operator can engage in the automatic process at any time and also correct turning points in the millimeter range.

Tension control by cable accumulator:

Tension-sensitive cables can be wound by a pneumatic cable accumulator. The accumulator arm compensates for deviations between the unwinding and rewinding units and guarantees that a defined maximum value is not exceeded.

The material accumulator can be easily swung in and out.

DSC 0680

Tension control in direct operation:

Unlike in accumulator operation, in the direct winding process the tensile forces of the source and target drums act directly on the material to be wound.

The synchronization of the motors involved in the winding process is crucial here. This applies in particular during the acceleration and deceleration phases and at high final speeds.

In the W1250 and W1400, high-precision servomotors control the winding process. The tensile force can thus be precisely adjusted and monitored to within a few newtons.

Fast loading and unloading process:

The ramatech drum winders are characterized by fast loading and changeover operations.

The drum loading by conical quills (centering cone) simplifies the clamping of a drum. The empty drum is pushed onto the right drive flange at ground level and the left clamping flange is closed at the push of a button.

In the case of an electric clamping and lifting unit, the take-up process can also be automated, depending on the drum standardization.

Durchhangspeicher 1

Quick release of drums over "Push-Out"-Function:

Due to the change in drum weight and the clamping process, wound drums can be snug against the centering cone of the drive flange. Manual loosening can then be tedious.

With the "Push-Out" function, the drum is actively pushed sideways from the centering cone and released. The operator can then easily roll out the free-standing drum.

IMG 1924

Good visibility paired with comprehensive operator safety:

The ramatech womder combines a direct view of the cable run and laying with necessary safety precautions..

The operator can monitor the coiling process frontally in line of the cable run and is still protected behind safety doors. Further safety precautions such as a standard cable recoil detection or an "immediate stop" function in the case of free cable end round off the safety concept.
